This high-strength, laser-cut steel plate reinforces the entire crankshaft assembly and provides significantly greater stability in the main bearing area. Installation takes place between the engine block and the oil pan at the main bearing caps.
The additional reinforcement reduces vibrations in the crankshaft assembly and significantly decreases the load on the crankshaft main bearings - a decisive advantage for high-performance or high-revving engines.
