Adjustable racing suspension kit Alfetta GTV / 6 + Alfa 75
The 4 dampers and 4 coil-over springs in this set are adjustable in height. With this set you can lower the car independent on all 4 corners and adjust as you like. front 80 - 125 kg rear 60 kg The coils at the front are added to the original torsion bars on the car to reach the necessary stiffness. You can arrive at a track day and lower the car on the fly with the easy system. Afterwards adjust the ride height again for driving on the normal roads. The effect of installing stronger springs and shocks The standard setting of springs and anti roll bars on any transaxle is set for comfort, i.e. too much comfort for performance driving. So the springs and anti roll bars are to soft for high performance driving. Under cornering there will be weight transfer due to body roll. This has a great negative effect on the geometry of the alignment of the car. Left/Right corner combinations mean a lot of roll and as a result loss of time. Pitch and squat mean the car has difficulties in breaking and also sprinting of the line. After you install bigger (read stronger) anti roll bars and you want more improvement, than you must think of springs and shocks. Originally the Alfa Transaxle was fitted with rather soft springs for a relatively high comfort level. The front has a system of torsion bars which are rather progressive. So due to a lot of suspension travel, the torsion bars beef up to respectable spring rates for street driving. For trackday or race applications you want to reduce suspension travel as much as possible. So these torsions are in fact useless since under reduced suspension travel, the rate of these springs are no more than 30kg or 75pounds. Koni and the likes Back in pre historic times (in formula one 30 years is an endless time), koni and the likes saw the first transaxle, the alfetta 4cylinder and they developed shocks on that car. From driving the car in modern times we know, they never ever adjusted the design and even after the GTV4 and later GTV6 cylinder than the 75 (Milanos) had the same koni yellow or bilstein. (btw konis are not adjustable. The system is intended to compensate for wear of the shock in time). Then the springs. For the rear there is a solution for a stronger spring. For the front options are limited to bigger bars from for example shankle. Most of the time people forget about the front spring for the convenience since there is no easy solution. The result of a car fitted with these aftermarket spings/shocks combinations is a car that is only beefed up at the rear with technology of at least 30 years ago. Our championship winning race Group A GTV6 is the proof that you do not make it with torsions alone in modern racing. The car has huge torsion bars but these are still assisted with 500 pound coilover springs. So coilovers are the key to better handling and are the way to go to get a car that is in the league of a Porsche GT3RS and BMW M3CLS in terms of handling. So with our suspension systems the car is firm but not harsh. Has incredible amounts of grip and yes, is able to drive on two wheels in the corners with the right shoes. With over 200 systems sold already, we can truly say this is the most popular system for releasing the potential of the Alfa Transaxle cars and bring it at the same level as modern reference sportscars.

Alfa Romeo 75 – The Last True Alfa?
When the Alfa Romeo 75 was launched in 1985 to mark the brand’s 75th anniversary, it was more than just a new model – it was the final chapter of an era. The last Alfa fully developed independently, before the takeover by Fiat. And the last to bring the famous Transaxle concept to a sedan.
Technically based on the Alfetta platform, the 75 featured a front-mounted engine with rear-mounted transmission – connected via a rigid driveshaft, supported by a De Dion rear axle and limited-slip differential. The result: perfect weight distribution, great traction, and a unique driving feel in its class.
Visually, the 75 was a product of its time – angular, functional, yet dynamically Alfa. Its short rear, low greenhouse, and wedge-shaped front gave it a distinctive look. Inside: futuristic instruments, low-slung seats, and full driver orientation – quirky but unmistakable.
Under the hood, the range was broad: from a 1.6-liter inline-four to the legendary 3.0 V6 “Busso”, delivering 188 hp and a silky sound that defined the series. Also offered: turbodiesel versions, the rare 1.8 Turbo, and the 75 Turbo Evoluzione, built for motorsport.
The 75 was built until 1992 – after which the front-wheel-drive 155 marked a turning point in Alfa’s DNA. The 75 remained the last classic rear-wheel-drive Alfa with Transaxle layout and a pure mechanical soul.
Today, the Alfa 75 is a cult car: angular, charismatic, uncompromising. Those who drive it choose emotion over convention, mechanics over electronics, and the true Alfa feeling.
Alfa Romeo 90 – The Understated Gentleman
Built between 1984 and 1987, the Alfa Romeo 90 was the discreet luxury version of the 75 – technically intriguing, stylistically reserved. It combined Transaxle layout, De Dion rear suspension, and Twin-Cam engines with a clean, elegant exterior. Highlights included optional hydropneumatic suspension, digital instruments, and a retractable document drawer in the dashboard.
The top model, the 90 2.5 V6, featured the legendary Busso engine – refined, musical, and powerful. With only around 57,000 units built, the Alfa 90 remains a hidden gem: elegant, technically refined, and rich in understated charm.
Those who drive it enjoy Alfa without flash – but with character and class.
