Adjustable racing suspension kit Alfetta GTV / 6 + Alfa 75
The 4 dampers and 4 coil-over springs in this set are adjustable in height. With this set you can lower the car independent on all 4 corners and adjust as you like. front 80 - 125 kg rear 60 kg The coils at the front are added to the original torsion bars on the car to reach the necessary stiffness. You can arrive at a track day and lower the car on the fly with the easy system. Afterwards adjust the ride height again for driving on the normal roads. The effect of installing stronger springs and shocks The standard setting of springs and anti roll bars on any transaxle is set for comfort, i.e. too much comfort for performance driving. So the springs and anti roll bars are to soft for high performance driving. Under cornering there will be weight transfer due to body roll. This has a great negative effect on the geometry of the alignment of the car. Left/Right corner combinations mean a lot of roll and as a result loss of time. Pitch and squat mean the car has difficulties in breaking and also sprinting of the line. After you install bigger (read stronger) anti roll bars and you want more improvement, than you must think of springs and shocks. Originally the Alfa Transaxle was fitted with rather soft springs for a relatively high comfort level. The front has a system of torsion bars which are rather progressive. So due to a lot of suspension travel, the torsion bars beef up to respectable spring rates for street driving. For trackday or race applications you want to reduce suspension travel as much as possible. So these torsions are in fact useless since under reduced suspension travel, the rate of these springs are no more than 30kg or 75pounds. Koni and the likes Back in pre historic times (in formula one 30 years is an endless time), koni and the likes saw the first transaxle, the alfetta 4cylinder and they developed shocks on that car. From driving the car in modern times we know, they never ever adjusted the design and even after the GTV4 and later GTV6 cylinder than the 75 (Milanos) had the same koni yellow or bilstein. (btw konis are not adjustable. The system is intended to compensate for wear of the shock in time). Then the springs. For the rear there is a solution for a stronger spring. For the front options are limited to bigger bars from for example shankle. Most of the time people forget about the front spring for the convenience since there is no easy solution. The result of a car fitted with these aftermarket spings/shocks combinations is a car that is only beefed up at the rear with technology of at least 30 years ago. Our championship winning race Group A GTV6 is the proof that you do not make it with torsions alone in modern racing. The car has huge torsion bars but these are still assisted with 500 pound coilover springs. So coilovers are the key to better handling and are the way to go to get a car that is in the league of a Porsche GT3RS and BMW M3CLS in terms of handling. So with our suspension systems the car is firm but not harsh. Has incredible amounts of grip and yes, is able to drive on two wheels in the corners with the right shoes. With over 200 systems sold already, we can truly say this is the most popular system for releasing the potential of the Alfa Transaxle cars and bring it at the same level as modern reference sportscars.

Full suspension kit (Street) Alfa Romeo 116 / 75
The ultimate performance upgrade for Alfa Romeo 116 series cars including 75, 90, Giulietta, Alfetta, GTV, GTV6. This is nothing but a revolution for the 116 series cars! This kit takes your car from the 70s right up to 2020 with just one days work and better yet, no drilling, cutting or other modifications of the car is necessary! The goal when starting this project was very ambitious, it had to feature all possible modernizations, solve all weak points in the factory setup, work with several sizes of brakes, work both on road and track, have a modern geometry and be easy to adjust Suitable for: Alfetta / Giulietta Alfetta GTV/6 Alfa 75 / 90 A flipped lower balljoint like the IMSA cars gives a much improved roll centre and camber gain. A lowered steering arm is correcting the bumpsteer that usually occur when moving the balljoints location. The upright is also more compact which reduces scrub radius with wides tires. By using 156 Wheel bearings(155 for 4/98) we get access to three brake sizes, 284, 305 and 330mm which will fit in 15″, 16″ and 17″ wheels. The shorter steering arms makes the steering faster without the need to remove or replace the steering rack. This way you can use the servoassisted rack which usually is impossible and this is a big benefit as faster steering otherwise will be heavier. To achieve all this the suspension is designed as a complete package, that means the upright will not fit the factory wishbones, the brakes will not fit the factory upright and the wishbones will not fit the factory upright as they differ in dimensions. By using OEM style joints we get the rigidness of a uniball but with better comfort for road use, that is one of the key reasons together with adjustable damping that the kit works so well both for road and track use! The track version use 1:1 ratio dampers and harder springs with helper springs and spring holders and thanks to feedback from race car drivers that use the kit aswell as our own tests we can help you get near the right setup for your car directly, we can also supply the kit without coilovers if the customer wants to use a brand that can be serviced locally. The brakes comes in 284mm size to fit with every wheel size. Other sizes are optional (305mm and 330mm) All alloy parts are made in billet high strength anodized alloy for maximum lightness, strength and durability, steel parts like the lower wishbone are anodized and powdercoated in a paint that is very strong and hard wearing. This means a massive weight reduction, 12 kg or more depending on the brake size! All parts are made here in Europe to ensure highest quality and near contact with suppliers. Included in the kit is every nut an bolt, brake hoses, tools, steering arms and dust boots to make certain that nothing will be needed when fitting it to your car, this makes it not only an amazing upgrade but also saves you the cost and time to rebuild the factory parts when restoring a car. For a race car it will take you out on the track in no time, just fit, adjust and go! A brace is recommended for street use and a must for track use, see our braces on the product section.
